Silvio Romero Contest
The Silvio Romero Contest for monographs dates from 1959 and was idealised to encourage the production of scientific knowledge on different topics of folklore and popular culture.
It is launched every year by public announcement, and the winner and runner-up receive cash prizes, while there are also three honourable mentions, selected by a committee of specialists appointed by CNFCP.
