Bibliographic archive

The BAA is considered one of the largest libraries in Latin America in this field. Its bibliographic collection, dating back to 1961, consists of books, periodicals, leaflets, theses, cordel literature and press cuttings and also includes rare publications in Brazil and abroad since the 19th century, with titles on medieval troubadour ballads and songs, Brazilian folk tunes and travellers tales.
