Exhibition rooms
The National Centre of Folklore and Popular Culture has various rooms designed for multiple activities: permanent exhibitions, medium and short exhibitions, courses, lectures, and so on.
- The permanent exhibition has 1,400 objects representing different ways of life and forms of expression of the different groups in Brazilian society.
- Mestre Vitalino Galery a space reserved for thematic exhibitions lasting three to four months that, focusing on themes of contemporary interest relating to popular culture and its protagonists.
- Popular Artist's room are available for short exhibitions (around 40 days) to publicise and market the products of artists and handicraft communities.
- The shop is where the artists and handicraft communities who participate in exhibitions in the Popular Artist's Room can sell their wares.
